All set for Halloween OOP=$2.84
After that last post about eating right, I went out and brought a bunch of candy. But it’s for Halloween! Well, most of it!
What was really awesome about this trip was, I let 2 people go in front of me, because I knew my transaction would take a while, and by the time the lady had got done scanning me through, I had a a guy about my age standing behind me in line who commented “I’m coming to your house for trick or treat! You have the good candy”. Well we chatted a little as the cashier scanned my coupons, and he about died when he saw my total go from over $30 down to under $3.
He was so shocked that coupons could do that. Then the cashier said “Wait for it… she also gets $5 back!” And I said “Yup, they just paid me to buy candy”. As I walked out he was standing there dumbfounded, jaw dropped, and says to the cashier “this is my surprised face”. I just cracked up.
Oh, and get this, one of my coupons would even go through! Anyways, on to the transaction.
